About Me

  • I am indeed a qualified wine and beer lover. I have four globally recognised wine qualifications including WSET Level 3 wine and Level 2 Beer plus a truck load of wine travel (and drinking!) experience.

  • I like wine and I like talking. I also love helping normal wine folk in their quest to drink better wine.

  • I love real ale/craft beer and enjoying this in the fabulous pubs we have in Britain.

    I also enjoy mountain biking round the red routes at Dalby Forest, dancing, houseplants and cold plunges!

    My other big passion is travel and every year I plan a family trip in our motorhome (usually focussed around wine regions!).

  • That’s a toughy! It depends on the time of day/season/mood!

    I love anything obscure or lesser well and I’m also a big acid junkie (Alsace Riesling, Sardinian Vermentino etc)

    I also LOVE natural wines as I think, in general, they taste electric…especially if you go to the natural wine bars in Barcelona or Lisbon!
